STORE at 2011 Explore UT
The University of Texas at Austin hosted its 12th annual Explore UT, a day of events and activities for the entire family, on March 5, 2011. The day offered the estimated 50,000 visitors an introduction to university life, and specifically, insights into some of the current research activities going on at the university. Numerous STORE members, as well as students from the Jackson School of Geosciences, participated in the annual Explore UT outreach event with a booth entitled "What to Do with CO2". The booth provided a variety of outreach activities on fossil fuels, physical properties of CO2, porosity and reservoir fluid storage, and carbon sequestration.
